More than anything else I want to be an Olympic snowboarder and skateboarder.
I practice every weekend in Winter Park and Woodward Skate Park. I would be very disillusioned if I didn’t make it to compete. When it comes to skateboarding, I am very intrepid and will attempt anything. The rush of the wheels on the pavement is music to me. I worked my way up to competitions and try to get to the top. I finally and ironically I make it to the Olympics. I have sympathy for the sports and competitions. Finally I have made it am ready for the first event. I strap in and start off. I fly off the first jump! “720!” says the announcer. As the half pipe approaches, I fly off the side into it. The first time I go off it, I get 20ft of air! “Slam Slosh” goes the board as I land and keep going. “Next up the Skateboarding event!” I get ready and put on pads and a helmet. I set up to drop in. “Clack Clack” I fly down the ramp. “Whoosh!” I’m in the air. The announcer calls out “ 180, 360, 540, 720, 900, 1080!” He has done it, pulled the 1080, Jake has won. I feel the joy and happiness as I watch the fans cheer and go crazy. I’m ecstatic and go crazy too. I take the medal and leave. I can’t wait until the next Olympic games to go back and try to win the gold once again.
